We’ve gotten tired of culling our follower lists to weed them out, so it’s nice to see Twitter doing something about it. Still, even with the “spambags” popping in their sales pitches, we’re still having a great time blasting back and forth with so many cool peeps. Burning Man Goodness: It’s hard to believe Burning Man is only one month away! To get ready, we’re volunteering our time to some local events (like Cirque Berzerk) and preparing for our playa trip by spiffing up Hoe-NAY (our RV) and putting costumes together. If you’re at all interested in the Burning Man experience can come share in some playa love the last Saturday of each month at Dockweiler Beach, where the LA Burning Man chapter puts on a cool beach burn. Final Thoughts: As summer has reached its midpoint, we have fully recovered from the deep depression following our store closing in June, finding time to rediscover our passion for surfing, reconnect with old friends, and even squeeze in regular doses of hot sexual encounters. Our son has been especially taken with wave riding, developing a passion for surfing that we indulge on an almost daily basis. Though Kealii likes baseball and basketball well enough, he’s found a passion in surfing we hope will last his entire life.
