With hundreds of releases flooding the sexuality category each year, it's
nice to know one can sift through the clutter and count on certain authors
to deliver relevant, fun, and, and informative books that almost always
result in tangible improvements in one's bedroom forays.
Dr. Sadie Allison is one such resource.
Encountering her at the 2008 ANE Show in Las Vegas, Dr. Sadie was showing
her latest release (the subject of this review) and
unlike the last time we approached
her at a show, she was not only warm and friendly, but anxious to get a copy
of Ride 'Em Cowgirl into our hands for review. This was in marked
contrast to her previously cold demeanor, explained by last-day trade show
exhaustion and easily forgiven.
Anywho, we've since become big fans of her work and, whatever opinion one
may form upon meeting her, Dr. Sadie never fails to deliver concise and
valuable insights in the sexual health field. Indeed, her
Tickle His Pickle guide to
fellatio is the undisputed champion in getting more head for more men in
more places. On that basis alone her newest work should be given a look by
every grateful male in existence.
In fact, Ride 'Em Cowgirl! is a rollicking good time, written for
both "cowBOYS" and "cowgirls" who are either looking to improve upon their
already productive sex lives, as well as those stuck in sexual ruts trying
to climb out of the abyss. And while sex positioning is the core focus here,
don't be fooled by the relative simplicity of the material and style - this
is a very rich treatise. Dr. Sadie cannily avoids the hundreds of
pretzel-like poses found in similar books and instead embellishes a
relatively short list of nuts-and-bolts positions with tips and tricks to
make them better. In fact, we were surprised to find sections
dealing with sensitive topics such as pregnancy and being overweight (and
overcoming these hurdles easily). Anal sex, toys, g-spot, furniture, and
oral sex techniques also get a few words, making this our true "must have"
book for 2008.
In summation, we could rave endlessly on Ride 'Em Cowgirl! (and the
rest of Dr. Sadie's library of wonderful sex-ed books), but suffice it to
say we highly recommend this book to EVERYONE - males, females, and couples
- looking to learn and add invaluable insight to love making. Yee-haw!Interested in purchasing
