Our Review:
Erotica has now become a decadent
pleasure for me to read.
It lets me wander off away from my
sometimes hectic life of being a daughter, wife and mother.
In other words it lets me dream off
to the wonderland of the world that exudes sexuality….
Within
“The Happy Birthday Book of Erotica” by Alison Tyler, the reader gets to
enjoy 19 erotic stories of how one could spend their birthday.
Each year we each have a birthday, and what
better way to look forward to it than reading about all the wonderful sinful
ways to share it.
In
the “Happy Birthday” by Simone Harlow, the story starts out with Maris
Landry, a detective whos’ birthday is just another hellish day at work.
The fun begins when she gets a call from her
sister whos’ present will be knocking at her door at any moment.
Once the door is open, the so-called present of
naked Nick only to be covered by a big red bow is described with such
voyeurism that you can’t turn the pages fast enough.
The author describes the instant electricity
between them as powerful, smoldering bodies that intertwine as they play off
each other to see who will dominate in this evening tryst.
In
“Puss In Boots” by Shanna Germain, you find that you can relate to the
character as she delves into a part of her personality that is a bit unknown
to her – sexiness.
As you read along you see the transformation she
goes through by searching for the perfect set of thigh high boots to wear
for the ultimate gift to her partner.
You
can relate in the anticipation she goes through as she prepares her gift.
In fact, you feel the wantonness that the
thigh-high boots give her as she slowly unwraps herself to her partner.
It leaves you to wonder what could happen next
on her birthday.
And
in “Another Ten for Extra” by Erica Dumas the story fast forwards to the
lead character being called onto the stage for her dancing debut.
What kind of debut - Debut at a strip club that
is.
All the work of going through try outs, then going
through finals to finally getting the coveted spot of House Dancer.
House dancers are the only ones that can do Lap
dances.
And to give her partner the “birthday-present stripper”
she worked her ass off, literally!
As she is onstage dancing and peeling off her
costume in front of a packed house of men all vying for attention, her focus
is only on one man.
As she describes the feeling of excitement that
goes through her as faceless men put money into her g-string as she grooves
to the music letting her body be viewed as a sexual goddess, you never
forget that her partner’s smell above all the sweat and grim in the room is
so intoxicating that you feel you are there.
After the routine is done, you are following her
into the room for lap dances and the tension of her and her suitor wanting
each other while she dances solely for him is unnerving.
The
Happy Birthday Erotica book is a Must Have in your book collection.
Every story kept me riveted with all the sexual
trysts that were so intertwined.
