Wow, we never knew the vagina could be so, um, interesting...

Synopsis: A website all about vaginas!

Our Review: My initial reaction to myvag.net can be summed up in one word: fascination. Here is a woman completely unafraid to bare the grittiest details of her vagina and other reproductive organs to the internet surfing world. Wow.

As I continued on, reading the ‘house favorites’ articles and clicking around on the other menu items, I noticed the bluntness that is the author and found I appreciated it. As I read, I found myself recalling my own emergence into puberty and the lack of information about the female reproductive system at that time. Sure, there’s still a shortage of information, but this site makes generous headway towards putting an individual, healthy spin on things. Many of these articles are ones I would encourage a parent to print out and sit down with their prepubescent daughter to talk about.

The site itself is simple to browse through with a pleasantly straightforward layout. There are options to submit or subscribe to an ezine, check Sarah (the author)’s blog, or read her well thought out reviews. Her site map makes sense and is easy to follow (go to a random website and take a look at their site map – when your eyes have uncrossed, check out this one) with sections well outlined for ease of use.

An interesting site with a mission (just click on the ‘about’ link up top and see for yourself), any woman (or man) could feel comfortable reading the articles here. It’s the perfect site for women who don’t have girlfriends that talk about sex, and a nice site all around for information with a personal touch. Reviewed by Angie
