Synopsis: Another chapter in the tropical series, this one
taking place in Bora Bora.

Early on in the commentary
track that is part of Island Fever 4, director Joone claims that this
is the movie he wanted to make when he shot Island Fever 3. And the
difference between the two is quite noticeable. While the action is
essentially the same as the previous three volumes (i.e. romantic couplings
in exotic locations), there’s little doubt that this is the best-looking and
best-edited Island Fever to date.
At over three-hours in length (spread across two DVDs), this is also the
longest Island Fever to date, although that doesn’t mean Joone has
lengthened the sex scenes. Instead, he gives us no less than 20 sexual
segments with a mix of solo scenes, lesbian sessions, and some good, ol’
fashioned boy/girl action.
The majority of the scenes have been shot on location in Bora Bora, although
I think a few of them have been filmed at a different location (which I’ll
note as we proceed). After a rollicking, almost music video-like opening
credits sequence (which will give you an idea of how the rest of the scenes
have been edited), the movie begins with Jesse Jane and Jana Cova making out
on the beach at the edge of the water. There’s no toy use whatsoever in
Island Fever 4, so sapphic purists should be happy to hear that it’s all
fingers and tongues in this segment – including a nice bit where Jesse
finger-fucks Jana’s ass.
Our two other Digital Playground contract stars are next, as Teagan Presley
and Sophia Santi have their own girl/girl session. This one’s not really
hardcore, and basically consists of some kissing and mild touching. Teagan,
by the way, is the real standout star of this volume of Island Fever.
Not only does she look fantastic in all of her scenes, but her boy/girl
encounters are far and away the best pairings in the movie.
Our very first boy/girl scene matches Kinzie Kenner with Marco Banderas, and
it’s the first that appears not to have been shot in Bora Bora at all.
Kinzie is up on a cliff overlooking some other islands, but keen viewers
will note that those islands are entirely computer generated, an not real.
Which made me wonder if the cliff area where Kinzie and Marco were making
out was a set as well...it certainly could be, but that really doesn’t
distract from the essence of the pairing – which is a hot one. Kinzie and
Marco go at it in the standing doggy and reverse cowgirl position, and the
scene climaxes with Marco jerking his load down off of her tongue and onto
her chest. If there’s anyone that Digital Playground should consider signing
as their next big contract star, it’s Ms. Kenner – she’s got a smokin’ hot
body, perfect tits (perhaps the best fake ones you’ll see in porn) and is a
great on-screen performer.
Teagan’s first boy/girl is with Evan Stone, which takes place on the beach
and ends with a pop-shot onto her stomach. This is followed by Jesse Jane’s
first boy/girl, in which she pairs with Scott Nails. In fact, Jesse has
three pairings with Scott Nails throughout the movie, and all of them end
with pretty nice pop-shots (the one here is a facial).
All four of the main stars – Jesse, Teagan, Jana, and Sophia – team up for a
four-girl lesbian scene, which I believe marks the first time these women
have all been in the same sex session together. Naturally, this turns out to
be the best girl/girl action on this release, and I really enjoyed one point
where Jesse and Sophia lift Teagan up so Jana can vigorously finger her
pussy.
After a brief, non-sexual scene where Jana Cova shows off her body while
standing in some shallow water, we get an interracial encounter between
Marie Luv and Marco Banderas. This is the other scene in Island Fever 4
which I’m pretty sure wasn’t actually shot on location in Bora Bora,
although it blends nicely with the rest of the footage. The fact that Marie,
Marco and Kinzie Kenner aren’t in the behind the scenes material and didn’t
actually make the trip to Bora Bora with the rest of the cast seems to
solidify my theory. For the record, the pairing between Marie and Marco
consists of cowgirl, reverse cowgirl, and standing doggy – ending with him
jerking onto her left breast, and with her cleaning off his cock with her
tongue.
Next we have another short, non-sex scene where we see Teagan on the other
side of a sheet of water – almost as if she’s behind a waterfall that we’re
very close to. The last scene on Disc One is a girl/girl pairing between
Jesse and Sophia.
At over three hours (199 minutes, to be more exact), I can see the reason
for Island Fever 4 to be spread across two DVDs...while it certainly
could have been fit on one disc, picture quality would have suffered, and
that quality is one of the best reasons to pick the movie up (it’s by far
one of the most visually stunning adult releases this year). However, the
break between Discs One and Two is rather jarring...and it does seem to take
you out of your “fantasy vacation” for a few minutes while you replace the
disc.
Disc Two opens with a solo masturbation scene with Jana Cova; followed by
Teagan’s next boy/girl segment – this one pairing her with Evan Stone.
Teagan gets some standing doggy here and takes a pop-shot onto her neck and
tits.
Jesse’s second pairing with Scott Nails features a mutual exchange of oral,
some doggy and a cumshot onto her ass. This scene is followed by a mild solo
scene with Jana, in which she just lightly touches and shows off her body.
Next is a lesbian pairing with Teagan and Jana that includes both oral
licking and fingering. After this girl/girl session, we get Jesse’s third
and final pairing with Scott, which has a few more positions that the
previous scenes (we see standing doggy, reverse cowgirl and spoon here) and
ends with a blast to Jesse’s neck and chest.
In what gets my personal vote for the “hottest” scene in Island Fever 4,
Teagan joins Jean Val Jean in the jungle for action that includes a really
hot-looking reverse cowgirl pounding during which Jean is mildly (but still
erotically) choking Teagan while he penetrates her. There’s also a great
cumshot to be seen, as Jean shoots directly into Teagan’s mouth and face.
The last girl/girl scene has Sophia and Jana enjoying each other’s bodies.
Then it’s one last scene for Teagan (another great one, incidentally), when
she joins Tommy Gunn near the remains of an ancient temple for some reverse
cowgirl and standing doggy. Once again, Teagan is on the receiving end of a
quality facial blast during the climax.
Island Fever 4 concludes with Jesse taking on Evan Stone in a segment
that begins with Jesse just rolling around in the sand by herself for
several minutes, and then getting it from Evan in the standing doggy,
reverse cowgirl and doggy positions. She takes a facial at the conclusion.
Before the credits roll, we get to see Jesse playing some bacci ball with
the natives.
The movie is presented in widescreen anamoprhic, with the option of
listening to a 5.1 or 2.0 Dolby track. There’s also an optional
feature-length commentary track that features, among others, Joone, Jesse
Jane, Teagan Presley, Sophia Santi, and Robby D.
Disc Three contains the bonus material for this release, and in many ways
it’s even more entertaining that the main presentation. Things start off
with a 53-minute behind the scenes featurette that, like the movie, is
anamoprhically enhanced for your TV. There’s also a selection of behind the
scenes “confessionals” that are short clips (usually a few minutes each)
that show some additional behind the scenes footage with the cast or crew.
Then there’s a behind the scenes slide show that is accompanied by
commentary from the cast and crew (the same individuals who are part of the
movie’s commentary track).
The extras on Disc Three continue with “Crazy Evan’s Island Movie” which is
a 8 ½ minute short film directed by Evan Stone which is kind of a spoof of
The Island of Dr. Moreau. “Bora Bora Moments” are some more short
behind the scenes clips, including playing bacci ball; having dinner; and
(in a clear indication that this movie was shot long before we lost the
“Crocodile Hunter”) screwing around with stingrays!
The bonus features wrap up with a photo gallery; text biographies for Jesse,
Jana, Sophia, Teagan, Joone and Robby D.; star wallpapers (accessible from
your computer); and an impressive 30 trailers (including an anamorphic one
for Island Fever 4).
The only caveat that potential customers will want to note is that once
again this latest edition of Island Fever features a music-only
track, meaning you won’t hear the “moans and groans” of the performers
during the sex. But this is the way they’ve done it from the beginning, so
why mess with a winning formula?
Island Fever 4 is everything you would expect it to be, and if you
were a big fan of the previous versions, you won’t be disappointed by what
you get here. It’s visually stunning, well-shot, and includes enough extras
to keep you busy until Island Fever 5 is released...which I’m
guessing is a sure bet after witnessing the quality of work that went into
this title.
